Should I bring certain things?

Absolutely! The desert offers many challenges especially when out on the open road. There is a list of must haves that we require you to bring.

  • One gallon of water per person per day! Refillable water bottles are great too!

  • Hat, long sleeve shirt, and adequate hiking shoes.

  • First aid kit

  • Day backpack for small hiking adventures.

What are the pick-up and drop off times for your vehicle?

Our daily rentals are between 8 am to 6 pm seven days a week, unless it is a multi-day rental.

Is Delivery Available?

Delivery is available in the Study Butte, Terlingua and Lajitas area for an additional $50 fee. Must be set up at time of reservation.

Is there unlimited miles?

There is a 200 mile limit for the jeeps. Any additional miles will incure a fee. Rates subject to change.

Are pets allowed?

There are no pets allowed. It should also be noted that Big Bend National Park does not allow dogs on the trails. With the desert like conditions, it is wise to leave all pets at home.

Can I go on any road?

Rentals are not allowed on all roads year round. Tours with a guide however, may have more options. Itineraries must be approved. This is for a number of reasons, first and foremost is your safety. Rainy season and extreme heat are several factors to keep in mind, and stay aware of at all times.

Is there child safety seat attachments in the Jeep?

Our Jeeps are all equip with the ability to insert child safety seats. WE Do NOT supply child safety seats! 

What are other recommended things to do in the area?

The Big Bend is an epic place to explore! Cruising in a Jeep and taking a tour out in the wilds of the desert is just one on the many adventures this area has to offer. Horseback riding, canoeing, and zip lining are some of the more popular activities. There are multiple guided services in the area that will not disappoint. Let us help you navigate your best Big Bend experience!
